Snapshot day became a very eventful day and we would like to thank everyone who made it so special. The morning was busy with people who came in to have cookies and coffee with us. We had several patrons interested in the Sony Reader which led to many discussions. Total of 94 people walked through our doors that day with 99 items being checked out. Adults and children used the computer during the day and also our wireless was in use. A happy event was signing up four new library card users. They had just moved to our community. To end the day we had a special bedtime story time at 7 p.m. and Harriet Vance was our special reader for the evening. Thanks again for supporting your library!
This class will cover how to create photo e-cards, greeting cards, newsletters, and even walk around panoramas from photos. The free GIMP photo editor will be the foundation of most of the projects discussed in this class. We will also take the time to exam how to scan slides and negatives from time gone by. We will place some emphasis on the holiday theme.
The class will be offered December 2, 2:15-3:45 p.m. .
